Merry Christmas

So once again this time of year draws round and we all become incredibly busy!!! It is hard to believe that only 12 months ago it was Christmas!! Well I am going to keep this fairly short!!! I hope everyone has a good Christmas and a happy new year!! If I don't see you before have a good one!!

Pole dancing is not as easy as it looks!

So yes, I have started my 8 week course of Pole dancing, I am enjoying it very much, besides all the bruises, aching arms and a few grazes, I'm ok and my chiropractor said I was fine too!!!
All the moves have really cool names like: the momentum turn, the sassy, the foxy, etc, last night we attempted to climb up the pole, well lift ourselves up I should say! I am not very good at it!!! Like most of the moves I am a complete unco!!! But I do not give up, I always give it a really good go, I guess it doesn't help when people send you you tube videos of women falling on their heads while pole dancing!!!
Any way it is a lot of fun and Jill (Who is Hot and has an amazing arse!) our instructor is really nice, plus we get to listen to cool music like, Britney, The veronica's and last night we did our routine to Kylie's new song!!
Plus the Shoes are amazing, I am so getting a pair!!

They are amazing they cost about $100 but they will be so worth it!! They have grip on them which make it easier to walk, plus they are 6 inch heels!!!

Hello to the world Chili Gedge!!

Ok so I know I have not written for a while, but lets see what has been happening?????????????
Everything!!!
Ok Well first of all these are some pics of our beautiful new Boxer Chili!! She is the most adorable little thing!!! There are pics of her and her brother, Horus too. Our friend Adam bought her brother!!





We have just moved house this past weekend, into another rental, but it is much nicer and has air con. Once we get set up I will send out pics!!
My job is going really well I just got a pay rise which is great! Matt is not too happy at work at the moment, he may have his car taken off of him, because he doesn't agree with the AWA!!! But he has made so many contacts, he is currently asking around for work!
Matt was away for three weeks, which I mentioned before, he came home for 3 days and then went back to Queensland for another 3 weeks, it was really good money, and even though I missed him, it enabled us to move out so quickly!!!
Well the move was not quick, I should say,we spent all day yesterday till 7:30 at night moving and then we did not get to bed till 12!!!!
My sister arrived today from London and is staying with us for a week, hopefully she will be here for a while!! She has a couple of interviews while she is here, so fingers crossed, she will get something!!
Anyway better get back to it!!

Missing Matt

So today is the third day matt has been away and I feel sad, I miss him, I sound pathetic, but this is the longest we have been apart since we have been married!! The house feels really empty with out him, and it's not like the cats can talk to me!!!
I also have another problem, I owe my rover crew money which is fine, I owe them, but it means I can't be booted, well you say, just pay them!!! It's not that easy, I now get paid monthly and because Matt is away, he needs all his pay to get him through, as he has to pay for accomodation and food etc. so I can't really use his money, and I need to make my money last as I need to pay for all the stuff associated with baw baw and my living expenses!!! So I am not sure what to do, I think I will sleep on it before I make any rash decesions. It's just I have had to change my boot like so many times and to now tell people that it is not happening, I dunno, I just want a party, I don't care about presents or anything like that. I just think people will once again get shitty with me for changing it, and there are up sides for not having it at baw baw, well for one thing, my finances are not great and so the thought of hiring a costume kinda scares me, as I need all my money! Gee I dunno what to do!!!!
I wish Matt was here so we could talk about it more than just over the phone. Plus if I don't have it at baw baw then I can take my time paying the money back and Matt will be there for it. I think I will call Fiona she always has good advice!!!
Maybe I just wont have a boot party?????
Anyway on the upside I booked another mk class last night and am calling 2 people about booking a class on thursday night. So fingers crossed I want to do 10 in August but I would be happy with 6 which means I only need to book 2 more!!!

Xmas in July

Well on Saturday night, Matt and I held our first annual Christmas in July!!! We had 21 of our friends over for a 4 course meal and it was lots of fun!!!
I woke up saturday morning about 9am and literally did not stop all day!!!
For starters I had made a selection of dips, the favourite would have to be the spinach dip in a bread cob, I also made mini dim sims (Which were also a hit!) and proscuitto wrapped stuffing balls.
Entree was Pumpkin Soup, which I had to serve in Mugs as I do not have enough bowls and couldn't be arsed buying 2 lots of plastic bowls!!! for mains we had Roast pork, beef, lamb and chicken, with roast potatoes, onion, pumpkin and carrot with peas, broccoli, corn on the cob with gravy, cheese sauce and apple sauce, it was quite a feast!!!
Dessert was apple pie and christmas pudding with cream and ice cream. We even did kris kringle presents, I ended up with a plunger, that you would use for unblocking drains and some glow in the dark naughty dice, it was quite hilarious as we didn't actually assign names, so people just bought gifts to the value of $5.00. I was relieved once all the cooking was done and we decided that next year we will assign people to bring certain things, to make it easier for me!! Everybody helped do the dishes, which was good, but my house looked like a bomb had hit it the next morning!!!
Plus I was exhausted as Will and I stayed up till 5am talking!!!! Matt piked!!!
when I woke up at 1pm on Sunday I turned to matt and said " I want a hamburger!" So I managed to get dressed and went and got hamburgers, chips, coke and 3 powerades and we sat and watched season 1 of Sponge bob squarepants while enjoying our hang over cures. I managed to fall asleep on the the li-lo and when I woke up Matt had cleaned!!! I couldn't believe it!!! We still have yet to vacuum and mop, but that was the least of my worries!!!
So overall it was a great night, even if I did have a massive hangover the next day!!!

Well what a week I have had!!!!
OK so this time last week I was at Mary Kay Cosmetics Annual Seminar held at crown Towers!!! Matt stayed in the hotel with me and it was really nice except for the fact that I was really sick!!!! Matt gave me his cold and it was so not nice!!! The seminar was excellent though and I learnt so much!excited about what this new Mary Kay year will hold for me!!! I saw all the successful women up on stage and really wanted to be up there!!! Next year I want to be on stage for Sales court!!! So to be on there I have to sell $45,000 in one financial year!!! If I do that I will get to walk across stage and receiver a Diamond ring!!! Plus with commission of 50% it is win win either way!! So I have some big goals ahead of me, but I know I can do it!!!
The Queen of Unit sales was a lady called Marilyn Schirmer. This woman is amazing, she came from a abusive marriage with 4 children and ended up living in emergency housing!!! She joined Mary Kay about 7 years ago and hasn't looked back since. She now earns in excess of $100,000 a year and has just built her dream home in Byron Bay (She used to live in Mackay, QLD). Her unit did in excess of $700,000 which is amazing, especially since we have been in such a drought!!! So she won 3 diamond rings, earrings and a trip to Canada and Maui, for herself and her husband all expenses paid by Mary Kay!!!! Wow it just blows my mind!!! I have to say that I work part time for the best company in the world!!! All this for enriching women's lives!!!! I just love Mary Kay!!!!

Life is.....Interesting?

Well I had an interesting weekend. Friday night we went out with Matt's work mates to a lovely restaurant called Joe's Garage; on Brunswick street in Fitzroy. I would just say the city, but Melburian's would correct me!!! The food was excellent and had I not been driving (Grrr taxi drivers suck!) I would have sampled some of their scrumptous cocktails. I had oven-baked chicken stuffed with bacon and macadamia on a bed of sweet potato mash, it was yummy!
After dinner we decided that we would go and visit our friend Ryan, who lives in Brunswick (the next suburb over, for all you interstate people). We stayed for a little while and then headed home.
Saturday I had a Chiro appointment. I recently found out that I have the early stages of Arthritis in my back and neck and my hips are all out of wack! Yay! So now I have to go twice a week for six weeks and then fortnightly or weekly visits after that!! Good thing we just took out private health!!! I came home from that and Matt and I had breaky and started cleaning the house. The house looks pretty good now, we changed the kitchen set up a bit, so it is more open and I washed all the cupboards and walls, they were pretty dirty!!! Saturday night I went to see Melbourne Gang Show. It was excellent, I really enjoyed myself, the singing was superb, up to the usual standard.
On Sunday we finished our cleaning and Matt had his Basketball Grandfinal. We were having drinks and bbq afterwards at our place, so hence all the cleaning. I even cleaned up outside, scrubed the bbq. I got matt to pull out the bbq so I could even clean behind it!!! I did some gardening and pulled a few weeds out. If we had a lawn mower I would have mowed too!
So the boys played like crap and....did not win, never mind they all recieved a beer stein with runners up C grade on it! What a great trophy!!! So bbq was good and everyone left without too much mess (besides all the skittles that Simon decided he would throw everywhere) around 11pm, which is pretty late for a Sunday night!!!
So now we get our Sunday nights back, which is so good. No rushing to get to Basketball!!! This Weekend is Matt's Dad's 60th Birthday, God knows what we are going to get him?

Charli!!! And other stuff!!!

So now I Know how to do all of this stuff it is fantastic!

These are some pics of my hen's weekend as you might have noticed! This one above is Bindi, Me and Fiona, the Bridal Party!!! We had the best time in Portsea, we even went to mineral baths during the day, what fun!!!

So anyways what has been happening? Well on Saturday I had a Tupperware party, which was fun, had about 3 girlfriends over, out of 25 that I had invited!!! Seriously people must be sick of Tupperware as I have never had so many people say they couldn't make it!!! Well as I had posted last week, Charli (our baby cat) had gone missing, by this stage we were starting to give up on finding her. We had put posters up, gone to see most of the neighbours, well the ones that were home!!! We had also gone to the cat protection society to look for her, to no avail!!! So I was overjoyed when I recieved a phone call at 4pm on Saturday (right at the end of the Tupperware party), saying I have your cat here!!!! It had been 8 days! Anyway as it turned out, Charli got locked in an outdoor computer room of one of our neighbours (he was one who wasn't home!), she completely ripped the man's curtin's to shred's in her attempts to get out!!! The poor thing, was so traumatised, she was pretty much crying when she came in. She ate nearly a whole can of cat food just to herself! Boy were we glad to see her! I even cried!!! What a sook I am! There's a pic of Charli at the top!!!

So tonight I came home from work and started dinner, Matt was nice enough to help and his generosity continued while I did the dishes!!! We folded our 3 mountains of washing up and then proceded to put it away. I then decided that I would clean out my drawers as I could not fit any more in them!!! Well I ended up with 3 garbage bags full of clothes, that I will now be giving to the Salvo's!!! Plus I cleaned out my wardrobe so that added to the 3 bags!!!

Well I am really tired and I said I was gonna get an early night, so I will sign off for now! Till next time.... xxxxx

Hmmm Things.....

Well I feel very internet savy now!!! This pic was taken at my bosses 4oth birthday earlier this year!!!

Well I am feeling very clucky this week, it seems strange...but I am a woman so yeah???

All of my friends, well I should say all my interstate friends pretty much, have babies or they are about to have a baby, or they have just had a baby, or they have just found out they are gonna have a baby!!!!!

So you can see where my cluckiness comes from!!! This week has been quiet so far and I now have to go xxxx

Mudbash!!

Well today I am so tired!!!!! We had Mudbash on the weekend!! It was excellent, I got to drive our crew's buggy- Angry in the Khanacross, it was so much fun and my friend, Cat and I drove in the Fillies!!!

So today I am totally exhausted. I feel like someone has replaced my lips with sandpaper and also shoved some down my throat!!!! I am meant to have Mary Kay meeting tonight but I am so tired that I am going to sit on the couch in my pj's all night!

My little cat Charli, has gone missing, I am really worried about her!!! I hope she is ok! I rang the cat protection society and they do not have a cat that looks like her!!! Feeling very sad and emotional!!! I hope she comes back soon! I am going to ask the neighbours after work!!

Well I am back, I haven't written for a while, as I have found it hard to have a few spare moments, but I just wanted to say thanks to everybody who helped with the wedding and what not we had a great day!! You know I would put photo's up but I still don't know how to!! Any hoo, at work will post more later!! xxx

5 Days to go till W Day!!

Oh My god!!!

Can not believe it! only 5 days to go?!!!! Very excited am going to pick up my sister tonight from the airport. Then dad, grandma, auntie chris and Lance get here on thursday!! Have such a full on week. Picking up my dress tomorrow, so I think it will seem even more real then!
can't concentrate on anything! Is this normal? Also am having trouble sleeping! very excited!

5 weeks to go!

Hello everyone!

Wow I can not believe where the time has gone!

It just seems like yesterday that it was only a year to go! We only have a few more things left to do and then we are done!

What has been happening? I have a new job! I now work for my friend Michelle, for her on line business called Not Just Enterprises, we sell alot of Direct selling stationary and jewellery. We are also branching out into a few other web based areas!

Matt just got offered a promotion at work; which is very exciting! He really is moving up in his company which is fantastic, as he works soo hard!

We became an Aunt and Uncle for the first time on February the 5th, not sure if I wrote that last time, No I just checked and definitely did not write about it! Matt's brother, Scott and his partner, Amy had a little boy, Archie David Gedge. Mother and baby are all fine and Archie weighed 6lb 14 and was 50cm long. He hasn't stayed that way though, grown heaps! He was in 5 0 clothing but he couldn't wear anything with feet in it as his feet are really long. He is soooo tiny! He had like no fat on him but very cute! Amy and Scott live in Warnambool, which is along the southern coastline of Victoria. It is about 4 hrs drive from us and if you drive another few hours you'll get to Mt. Gambier! So suffice to say we don't get to see them that often!

My Aunt is coming over from America for our wedding I am really excited about the whole thing really! It is not often that we get all my immediate family together at once! Plus Christine is my Favourite aunt, she and I get along very well, we have very similar personalities! Matt is so going to freak out with all the Chomel's that will be around!

Can't think of anything else that has been happening so I will sign off for now!

Cold Beer, Ants and 5 Cheese Lasagna

Hello every one!

Can I just say how hot it is right now! I am so exhausted I could go to bed and not get up till the morning but I can't as I have to clean my house.
Tomorrow is bridesmaid day! Yay! As there is only 11 weeks till we get married I thought I should probably get my butt into gear.
We are going to buy the material for the dresses, buy shoes have lunch some where in there, go see the dress maker for measurements and hopefully go and see the make-up artist! followed by dinner and some girly drinks, movies and dancing!
Well I should explain my title, I am enjoying, well I was enjoying (cos now it's finished) a nice ice cold blonde, it is soooo yummy, that beer and only 0.5g of fat!! We decided that we should drink alcohol that is not so bad for us, also cougar zero is also excellent, and makes my pants fit nice!!
Well the ants have taken over our house, so much so that we can no longer have a bin in the kitchen! they will crawl all through the pantry, and also all over the kitchen benches up into the freezer! and we can no longer leave UN-eaten cat food on the floor as the ants will get into that too! So I have now surrounded the house with ant powder, and put ant rid in every possible spot that I can, also we have to rinse every single dish before we leave it on the sink!!! Suffice to say I am sick of ants!!!!!
Well when I got home yesterday Matt's best mate, Will was here and they were having a few beers so I thought I would join them, well that was a bad idea as I was really tired and hungry and so I got pissed quite quickly! I was meant to be making lasagna but I apparently turned into the blonde that I was drinking! So anyways by about 8pm I thought I should cook, well it turned out smashing! The lasagna contained the meat sauce plus Parmesan, tasty, motzarella, fetta and ricotta cheese, not very healthy but none the less very tasty!
Well I am about to fall asleep so I am going to go, but I will write again soon!
