hello every body!
I am writing in red today because I am very excited about the swans hopefully winning their second premiership tomorrow, I am so excited that I really was not focused on work today!
My boss (Louise) let me decorate the deli today, how cool is that and I got to start work at 10am and finish at 4pm.
Well nothing much else has happened, Matt decided he is now going to wear a tie to our wedding after about 2 weeks of me begging him, using excuses like'Steve Irwin wore one at his wedding!' to which he replied with saying Steve said that he would rather wrestle a croc then wear a tie!
So anyway that is good. I still have to ring the cake lady, I actually get to pick what the cake looks like and Matt picks the flavour.
Matt got back last night, not sure what time he'll be home today or if he'll be home today, I feel like I have a part time husband to be! At least I can watch all my shows without him complaining!
It's my little cats birthday today, Charli is 1! On this day last year I was on a bus on my way to Adelaide for Mel and Ryan's wedding!
Well gotta go got my friend Adam waiting for me at my house with some icy cold Boag's St. George (Thanks to James and Karen for getting me on to them !).

Crap day, Great day
Well what a day I have had!
I started work at 7am this morning feeling good! Then of course somthing has to go wrong, at 7:15 Val (One of the ladies I work with) calls in and says: 'I am going to be late I forgot I had a mammogram today, I wont be in till 11am!' . How can you forget that you have to go and have a Mammogram?
So suffice to say I woke up almost every girl in the Deli trying to get them to work. Of course no one could, So I grinned and beared it and I kicked butt!
By 9:45 I really needed Coffee (Don't we all!), so I found someone to stay and serve in the Deli for 15 so I could have my tea break!
I think I must have panicked, because by the time Val got to work I had done almost every thing! How good am I!
So my crap day turned into a good day!
Last night I was watching the brownlow Medal count, and I get a phone call from our photographer, he received our money order of $500.00 and sent it back to us, as we were meant to write his name on it not the company. We never received it so now there is a $500.00 money order floating around Melbourne somewhere! I hope this is the only thing that will go wrong with our wedding plans!
Speaking of wedding plans, I am sick to death of hearing people ask me 'how are your wedding plans going?' like anyone (I mean people who you just see at work, etc but don't really have a relationship with) really gives a crap! I think they are glad it is me and not them.
This one lady who works in the dress shop, keeps hassling me to buy this really ugly Tiara at half price. I have told her every single time that it is too big, I only want something small! She replies, but you wont see the tiara if it is too small it will get lost in your hair! Does she even care? How does she know how I want my hair?
Sorry for the vent it's just she really ticks me off, she always talks to me on my breaks, at the cafe. I read on my breaks, and there is nothing worse then somebody talking to you when you are obviously absorbed in a book!
Matt is away all week for work! That sucks I have to fend for myself! Hamburgers, chips and Salad for tea.
Oh my god! You must try pink wish TIM TAMS! THEY ARE TO DIE FOR! Think Strawberry freddo's.
Oh buy the way any of you sth Aussies who might eventually read this, can you please send me some Fru chocs? They don't have them over here yet, I am trying to get my work to stock them, but they just don't understand! Rove loves them!
till next time, MWAH!

Welcome to the crazy world of Mel and Matt
hi!
Well after reading a few other blogs I decided I would have one too!
Well we have been sooo incredibly busy! Matt has been working 50-60 hr weeks and going away for work, so he has been very tired. Also last week (sat) we got a phone call from David (Matt's dad) saying that his grandfather had passed away. We were both saddened at this as Pa was such a lovely and generous man! But at 93 he had been quite sick and in and out of hospital, so he a peaceful passing. Pa's funeral was on Thursday the 21st, so we drove all the way to Wedderburn (about 1 hr NE of Bendigo) for his funeral, which was at 1:30pm at the RSL. It was a lovely service; more of a celebration of his life, than lots of tears. Matt stayed up in Wedderburn with his parents and his uncle Stu, to help clean up the house. Pa kept everything! It will take many working Bee's to clean everything up! And as I am writing they still are not home.
After driving home from Wedderburn, in Simon's (Matt's younger brother) car I started to panic nearing home, as I had left my keys inside. and of course matt had the other set in Wedderburn. Luckily I wasn't very security conscious and left the back door unlocked. I came inside and to my surprise there were two dead canary's on the floor, with feathers from one end of the house to the other (this was about 7.30 at night after leaving home at 8 am). Suffice to say I was very annoyed and Charli (My little white cat, who turns one next week) was in big trouble, and she knew it! so I cleaned up all the mess got changed and went to rovers which was bowling. after playing 2 terrible games I headed home. I realised I had six missed call 4 from Matt so I rang him, next minute Charli jumps up onto the kitchen bench after a moth. I yelled at her to get down, as she jumped down, she knocked a Glass off the bench and it smashed into lots of pieces!
So I had a great night!
Well it is 7 months to go till our wedding! How exciting am so looking forward to it!
Had a girls night last night, with my friend Fiona, sooo much drinking laughing and dancing that I am sufficiently hung over!
Well that is all for now, talk more later xxxx
