Howdy!
I hope you all enjoyed your Christmas celebrations!!! Matt and I enjoyed our day, we spent it with his family, at their house in Smiths Gully! We were originally going to be going to the coastal town of Warnambool, to spend it with Scott and Amy (Matt's Brother and his Fiancee). But our plans changed last minute as Amy (who is 32 weeks pregnant), started getting contractions, so she had to be flown to Melbourne! Any way Amy and the baby are fine, they gave her medication to stop the baby coming and at this present time she is 2cm dialated! She will be having the baby in the next 2 weeks. Yay! We are going to be an uncle and an Aunty!
I got very spoiled this year! Matt bought me the new Kylie perfume, a beautiful necklace with a heart on it, some lingere and a cougar bourbon top (Which I have wanted for like, 2 years!). I gave Matt the new Jamie Oliver cook book, NOFX's greatest hits cd and the Steve Irwin tribute book (Which he loved!).
We also got some new suitcases from his parents and various other cool stuff!
So I was back at work today, and it was soooo quiet! Very boring! I am looking forward to Saturday as we are going away for a few days to a little place called Murrindindi, it is all camping ground set on a little river, which is always freezing! We weren't too sure if we would be going, as Murrindindi was not too far from where all the fires were happening, but the cool weather over Christmas has really helped the situation!
On the wedding front not too much longer to go, just under 4 months which is kinda scary! I still have a few more things to do, like make invitations and bomboneiries, but that stuff wont take too long. My best girl, Fiona is now back from her honeymoon in Vietnam, and is all refreshed and ready to start organising me!
Met with a new dressmaker and she is lovely, now just have to buy material and drop it off to her.
Matt is on holidays now, so he is busy around the house, he has written himself a list of jobs to do and is slowly completing a few each day, today he defrosted the freezer, which was soooo over due!
We went to see the movie Happy Feet yesterday, we braved the cinema, as it was packed with school children, but it payed off, the movie was really cool!
Well can't think of much else to write, so I am going to say Sayonara, Mel xxxx
